Blanket Drive

The VFW Auxiliary is taking in nonperishable foods and blankets for the homeless veterans in Tuscaloosa County. These items can be dropped off during business hours or left under the awning in weatherproof containers/bags.

As we remember our prestigious history from our American Revolution to todays OIF/OEF we are about our veterans and their needs as we continue to serve.

We have a wide range of programs supporting our veterans from helping our homeless vets to assisting veterans families on a wide range of needs.

We will be be giving away several buddy poppies with no donation required but appreciated. Check us out at our events

Veteran Outreach

Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

We are The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.  We are the largest combat veterans group in the country with over 6,000 posts nation-wide and overseas.
 
Our main focus is dedicated to assist veterans. their families, and the local community.
